As a strong competitor to paraquat, diquat has regained favor from the market

As one of the four giants of biocidal herbicides, diquat has advantages that glyphosate, glufosinate-ammonium and paraquat do not have. The control effect of diquat is better than that of glyphosate, 

and its price is lower than that of glufosinate-ammonium. Low, similar use effect to paraquat will be a huge advantage for dichlor to quickly occupy the market and develop rapidly.

1. Fast efficacy: Diquat kills weeds faster than paraquat. The grass begins to die 24 hours after spraying. It rains 1 hour after spraying, which has little effect on the efficacy.

2. Safety and soil and water conservation: Although diquat has certain systemic properties, it will not damage the root system of crops and is mainly contact-killing. In addition, diquat also retains the 

performance of paraquat and the characteristics of no drift hazard. Since enemy grass does not kill the roots, it is conducive to water and soil conservation, and the field ridges are not easy to collapse.

3. Against broadleaf weeds: The control effect of Diquat against certain resistant weeds, especially broadleaf weeds, is even better than that of glufosinate.

4. Low temperature resistance: When the temperature is lower than 15℃, the weeding effect of diquat is more advantageous than glufosinate-ammonium.

5. Usage habits: Diquat and paraquat are both bipyridyl herbicides and have essentially the same weeding performance. Compared with other biocidal herbicides, terminals are still more accustomed to 

using diquat, and even Diquat is confused with paraquat.
